Adjusting the Seek Time in the Music Player

The double arrow buttons next to the play button are the player's seek buttons. These buttons allow you to skip forward and backward in a track.

Tapping on the seek buttons advances or rewinds by the set seek amount

When the seek amount is set to 5 seconds, tapping the seek forward button will advance the play time by 5 seconds

Changing the Default Seek Time in Settings

The default seek time is 5 seconds. To change the seek time of the player buttons, go to settings by tapping the gear icon at the top of the editor.

Open Settings

Under editor controls, tap seek amount

You can select 1, 2, 3, 5, 10, 20, 30 or 60 seconds for the seek time. This will make the player skip the amount of time you set when you tap the skip forward or skip backward buttons. Choose the desired seek amount
